Due to be released in the UK soon, Rev7 chewing gum is designed specifically for easy removal from carpets, combating a common and frustrating household problem.
Carpets are something of a focal point in a room, so an unattractive blemish such as gum would normally have to be concealed by furniture, if possible, and if not, leaving an unsightly blotch that binds together carpet fibres and gets bedded down in the pile of the carpet. The Rev7 gum is water based, therefore making removal very easy, whereby the cud is broken down by the water, allowing natural products to be released, in turn breaking the gum down.
Another major benefit comes to local authorities who spend millions of pounds every year trying to rid the streets of this unsightly litter. If this new development proves successful, the high pressure jets currently used to cut through the gum will increase hugely in productivity and should save valuable funds that can be put to better use.
